IoT for Smart Cities and industry

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the application of IoT In ternet ofthings in the «Smart City» program; its advantages for managing
the city with a purposeimproving the efficiency of public service.
The paper describes the capabilities of IoT technology for «Smart City», which allow things and systems to communicate with each
other, to transmit wireless network data without human intervention. The purpose of the program and the benefits of IoT technology
for the «Smart City» are formulated.
Proven relevance and history of creating IoT for «Smart City».
The areas of use of IoT for city management are described and examples of its successful application in various cities and projects
are given; the problem was formulated and succeededto solve with IoT technology for «Smart City». Project development prospects
are given countries of the world, including Ukraine. In particular, statistics on the use of technology are given IoT for «Smart City» by
«Delloitte» and McKinsey assessment. Including the above initiatives and platforms for smart cities designed to process and analyze the
data they generate municipal devices and physical installations launched by such giants as Google, IBM, Cisco and Intel.
