Abstract

The article analyzes the new possibilities of digital transformation for the logistics sector and
innovative tools for increasing the efficiency of supply chains. Growing trade volumes, the need for
faster delivery and lower costs are driving the need for advanced technologies such as artificial
intelligence (AI), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT) and big data. AI enables the automation of
route planning and demand forecasting, IoT provides real-time monitoring of goods, Blockchain
ensures transparency and security of operations, and Big Data facilitates analysis of market trends
and optimization of inventory management. The document provides examples of successful
applications of these technologies, including cost reductions and time savings in documentation
processes. It also highlights the key challenges of digitization, such as the lack of unified standards,
high implementation costs and adaptation to local conditions. The benefits of implementing pilot
projects to accelerate digital transformation of logistics activities and optimization of logistics
processes to create optimal conditions for enterprises of any scale in global competition are
highlighted. Future research directions are outlined, focusing on the integration of technologies to
ensure the sustainable development of the industry.
