Potential of the telecommunications services market development in Ukraine

Abstract
The article considers the tendencies of the telecommunication services global market development. The index of dynamics of telecommunication services markets in the world and in Ukraine for the period 2015-2019 is calculated. Based on the analysis of dynamics of the Ukrainian telecommunication services market development in relation to world and regional values, the main tendencies are highlighted: steady growth of telecommunication incomes for the last 10 years; reduction of the volume of the fixed telephone market with the simultaneous growth of the mobile market; lag behind global and regional values as a percentage of public access to the Internet; low, incomparable with global and regional values, the level of development of the mobile broadband market. Problems of development of the Ukrainian market of telecommunication services are defined.
